Skin Care post Cancer

My name is Mette Lykkegaard, and I am the founder, product developer and creator behind the luxurious Danish skincare brand LYKKEGAARD
My vision is to contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future within the beauty industry. I believe everyone is entitled to feel healthy and confident in their own skin. To me, a sustainable, happy life means caring about other humans, animals and nature so that no one has to suffer for the sake of healthy and beautiful skin.

LYKKEGAARD was created with a desire to develop a range of skincare products suitable for all generations and skin types

I love that my daughters and my mum can all use the LYKKEGAARD range. It is truly a testament to how the products embrace all ages. At the age of 28, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was scared and confused when I found out that the cancer wasn’t hereditary. I realised how harmful chemicals in cosmetic products are affecting the risk of cancer. I wasn’t aware that the products I had been using for years were damaging to my skin and health. Therefore, I made it my interest at heart to create non-harmful products for every woman, regardless of age and skin type.

Leaks and very poor pressure

This advertises itself as improving shower pressure and it’s actually made mine worse… also water leaks out the side even though I have it screwed on tightly/correctly. I sent them an email to troubleshoot the issue with me and received no response

A good product

I love how it leaves my hair looking. After using it, my hair feels moisturised and manageable, and it’s easy to detangle.

Poor communication

The items were not received and there was no communication had. Very confusing and dissatisfied.

Hi Shanta, we're sorry for the inconvenience caused. The tracking shows your products were held pending tax / duty payable at the border. We are unaware of any such delays as we do not get copied in. The communication is sent directly to your email address from UK customs.
I note the goods are now being returned to us and we will be in touch with you when they arrive back to discuss what you would like us to do.

Charged for two but delivered only one

It’s a great shampoo, I use it regularly. I ordered two bottles, was charged for two bottles but this time only one arrived. Despite of sending a few emails re a missing bottle of the shampoo I still have not received any reply (since the 10th of August). Not the best customer service.

Hi Monika, we're sorry for the inconvenience. Sincere apologies and as per our separate email we had been awaiting stock and also e-mail routing issues our end in addition to being short handed and new team members coming on board over the summer.
We expect to supply the missing shampoo and some complimentary travel size gift items early next week.

Shower

Amazing shower head 5* so soft my daughter had issues with the hard water on her skin, this is a game changer for her.

I pay the money but I dont get my item . I try to contact the helpline but they ignore me.

The courier advises that delivery was 'refused' - there may be an error in the address we have on file for you?

The item was to be returned through the courier network but we have not yet received it.
I see your note about the lack of response on the helpline, our office is manned form 9am to 5 pm daily so it will be good to understand what has happened there. We are keen to resolve this and appreciate your patience.

Perfect

This color is my perfect blond, its natural and vibrant. It is so gentle on my hair, I leave it in for 20 minutes and then on to ends for 10 more. Great results every time.

Protects

I use this protector spray before drying and going out in the sun. It's worth the money, i only need a few sprays and my hair is protected.

Smooth & Silky

I just tried this serum and absolutely love it. It does smooth my frizzed hair and leaves it shiny and silky.

Excellent Product

As I have heart failure, I am advised to use as many products without chemicals. So Simply Natural Beauty, is the answer. Their products are so good, and there is no negative smell, & my Hairdresser is very happy using the hair colour and more importantly, it looks really natural so I would give this company 10 out of 10.
